# Create & Access Your Account

> Sign in with email, Google, or a wallet. Each method provides access to a separate self-custodial Leap wallet.

Leap lets you sign in with **email**, **Google**, or an existing wallet. In every case, you access a separate self-custodial Leap wallet.

    Create an account with your email or select **Continue with Google**. Leap generates a self-custodial wallet for your account. Find its deposit address in Leap.

    Approve the connection from your existing wallet. Leap creates a new self-custodial wallet for this login. Your connected wallet is the access key; it is not where you trade from or where your Leap funds are held.

## Export your Leap wallet key

Your Leap wallet has its own address. In **Settings**, you can export its private key.

  Keep the private key secret. Anyone who obtains it may be able to control the wallet.
